Ah the wonderful creation of Nana's apple pie! Add ice cream to the situation and what could be better? Perhaps whip cream , but I doubt it. It's just one of those things that simply makes your weekend! Well things today are certainly better than yesterday . I managed to sleep in , then Nana had french toast on the go . Talk about an awesome way to kick start the day. Got some shopping done. Then came home and had a huge meal in which I still somewhat feel too big for my jeans over here. Then of course me being the silly one that I am got offered pie and ice cream , and well...I have no resistance apparently giggles.
Has anyone ever told those , " I'm going to drive 50 miles per hour over the speed limit and there's nothing you can do about it " drivers , that well , they suck? So let's see , allow me to set up a situation here : me walking , I stop and wait at a crosswalk , crosswalk light turns to the walk signal and so I do the obvious , I walk. Then the other end of the situation : Dumbass driver going way too fast speeds through crosswalk anyway.
Me : Deer in headlights look
Driver : Speeding forward still
Me : Brain finally clicks into oh shit mode
Driver : Decides to whip out cell phone ( <----- seriously here ?! )
Me : Jump approx two and a half feet in the other direction as truck speeds past me
Have you ever wondered who the hell gives these people their licenses? I mean how hard is it to see 1) a speed limit sign? 2) A 5'3" person going across the street while all the other normal drivers are stopped? I didn't think it was too much of a challenge , but who knows, after all I'm not a driver so I really wouldn't know .
But well , it was still a good day over all, finally remembered that the girl I was supposed to be a secret santa for is in love with Starbucks coffee. Got her a gift card , and now I don't need to panic about what to give her anymore. (Thank god because we're exchanging gifts on Monday , good timing brain , love it when you kick in at the last possible minute) Still looking forward to going to the cinema with Morgan tomorrow . I have heard so many things about the new Harry Potter movie (Yes. I have read all the books at least twice and I have seen all the movies at least the same number of times giggles) that I'm really excited about going. I have heard that it is the best one yet! Tomorrow feels like it is going to be wicked!
